Melissa Baxter - PrincipAL
Melissa has successfully owned and operated Nothing Wasted Consulting since 2009. She has over 15 years of experience in the public and private sector advising on waste related compliance and legislation, technical assistance, waste characterizations and audits, and providing waste management to large events and venues throughout the State of California. Her experience in managing high performing teams has lent itself to be beneficial in completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner especially while working with the Integrated Waste Management department for the City of San Jose, City of Sunnyvale and as the Waste Zero Manager of Recology San Benito County. Melissa has an MBA from Cornell University. She is currently an active member of CRRA, NCRA, serves on the Cornell Board of Directors for Northern California and Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce.

Ethan MillsGrassin
Ethan, a Massachusetts native and proud father of two, helps businesses create workplaces where employees thrive. With over 15 years of Operations management and support and five years leading People Operations, he connects HR strategy with real business results. He strengthens organizations by improving talent acquisition, leadership development, and workforce planning while ensuring employees feel supported and valued. Outside of work, he hikes with his kids, enjoys local food, and trains his children to be fans of New England sports teams. His leadership builds stronger, more engaged teams that drive long-term success.

Maxilillian Perez
Max is an enthusiastic project manager at Nothing Wasted Consulting who specializes in leading teams to implement successful, long-term sustainable waste management practices. His experience includes hands-on waste sorting, quantitative and qualitative field data collection, and a strong commitment to sustainable solutions. He is also a member of NCRA and CRRA and is excited to continue making a positive impact in the zero waste field.

Georgina Graham
Georgina is a regional leader in zero waste initiatives for a top 100 global company, bringing over seven years of experience in designing and implementing technology, strategy, and sustainability programs within the private sector. Formerly a consultant at Deloitte and Gate One, she has recently completed a master’s degree in Climate Change, Management, and Finance from Imperial College Business School. In her role, Georgina focuses on leveraging behavioral insights, empowering stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and providing training to drive effective, circular systems.

Kristina Bolam
Kristina Bolam is a Project Manager at Nothing Wasted Consulting. She has assisted in data collection and manual sorting at waste characterizations across the state. She has provided technical assistance in SB1383 rollouts including organics service and edible food recovery. Kristina is committed to promoting sustainability and efficiency within the waste management industry.

Michael Deweese
Mike Deweese is a Project Manager at Nothing Wasted Consulting, specializing in waste audits, waste characterizations and 1383 enforcement. He has participated in waste audits across the state, ensuring accurate sorting and data collection. He has worked public and private events across the Bay Area, leading community education and proper sorting.

Jillian Hughes
Jillian a dedicated and detail-oriented environmental compliance professional with more than 17 years of experience in the waste management and recycling industries. She recently relocated to Montana to enjoy a “semi-retired” life; however, she quickly found out she couldn’t leave the recycling industry she’s so passionate about. Through her career in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jillian worked for innovative recycling facilities and sustainable hauling companies where she managed all aspects of their environmental compliance and permitting projects, as well as authored and developed numerous collection and processing RFPs and Franchise Agreements. Ms. Hughes graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Economics in 2006 and holds the Green Associate Certification with the U.S. Green Building Council - Leadership in Energy Efficiency Design (LEED) program. In her spare time, Jillian enjoys spending time with her husband and their many animals at their property in Montana enjoying big sky country!

Roseannah brings a multifaceted background in data analysis, systems management, and data integrity, paired with experience in portfolio management and capacity building. At Nothing Wasted, she channels this expertise to streamline data systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency that empower clients to meet their sustainability goals. Dedicated to achieving zero-waste outcomes with precision and reliability, Roseannah believes in the power of data to drive meaningful change. When she’s not immersed in metrics, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her two dogs, Magnolia and Nell.

Monica White
Monica has just under 20 years of experience working in the sustainability arena, where she has advised local government, advocacy groups and private enterprises on issues relating to greenhouse gas management, sustainability, climate adaptation strategies, zero waste programs and edible food capacity planning. Notably she is a strategic advisor to local governments, non-profit organizations and private enterprises on statewide solid waste regulations, such as SB 1383. She sits on the Board of Abound Food Care and is an Executive team member of the California Resource Recovery Association’s statewide Edible Food Recovery Technical Council, and a Policy Advisor to the California Food Recovery Coalition. Most recently she achieved a Microcertificate in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation from the Harvard Extension School.

Lisa Coelho
Lisa Coelho is an experienced solid waste consultant with a passion for driving engagement in waste reduction programs. With a decade of experience, she specializes in optimizing customer operations, developing high-performing teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance municipal and private waste reduction programs. Lisa is a subject matter expert in development and implementation of regional food recovery programs, organics and recycling diversion and implementation of reusable alternatives to single-use disposables.
Prior to her current role, Lisa held positions in environmental consulting and municipal sustainability programs, where she led regulatory compliance initiatives, conducted market research, and developed strategic roadmaps for clients to achieve sustainability goals. Her ability to bridge the gap between technology, policy, and customer engagement has positioned her as a trusted leader in the field.

Elsie Lopez
Elsie Lopez is a waste management consultant specializing in SB 1383 compliance, waste reduction, and stakeholder engagement. For over six years, she has conducted waste characterizations, route audits, and food recovery assessments across Southern California, analyzing data for municipalities, haulers, and private entities. She has led hundreds of site inspections, facilitated partnerships between food generators and recovery agencies, and provided hands-on training to corporate teams. Her expertise includes developing sustainability programs, optimizing waste management strategies, and conducting educational outreach to businesses and food recovery organizations to ensure compliance and promote environmental responsibility.
